Thanksgiving...BlackFriday....Slinking and 5 hour energy drinks...31st Street!

Thanksgiving was wonderful!!! I spent lots of time with the family! And got to love on all my kiddos! It all seems to be a blur...not only because it went fast, but because it's 2:14am ....lol.....I actually participated in Black Friday Shopping.....I've been shopping on Black Friday, but not to any of the early bird sales....We hit up walmart at midnight...It was quite an experience, but not as bad as I expected. Walmart seemed to have the crowd under control. I wasn't really there to get anything specific...I was just really there to see the sights and to help my sister get a few things.... I did have a run in with an awkward moment....And of course I'm the one who made it awkard...haaha.......So here's the end of the story before the beginning: Who knew walmart was giving out free granola bars and five hour energy drinks!??!?! ....WTH! .....I'm not a fan of free stuff...I don't know why I just never like getting free stuff.....so at one point..this lady...dressed in black dress pants and a white collared shirt approached me ......in a very soft almost secretive sounding voice she asks " would you like a five hour energy drink?" at the same time she slips a bottle of Five hour energy drink out of a bag that is drapped over her shoulder......my eyes got big and I responded with a quick no thinks.....It was as if the mormons were asking me to take a sacred piece of bread....haha...my first thought was ...."ain't that like someone trying to hustle people on black friday....who do they think they are trying to sell five hour energy drinks"......well at that point...I can't remember if it was my sister or cousin mad a comment about walmart offering all this free stuff to people... Shame on me!! haha...
Lessons learned from this experience:
1.  please wear a walmart name tag so I know you're not a hustler off the street.
2.  don't slink up to customers
3. always use your normal speaking voice....no whipsering to customers
4. Never pull something out a low slung sack in a slow motion...as if it's hot!
5. stay away from wearing black pants and a white shirt....you look like mormons or servers at a party ...I appreciate the nice clothes...but come on...it's walmart...
6.. walmart actually gives free stuff to customers on Black Friday!
7. Black Friday=people watchers buffet!

So after spending some money....I mainly bought dvds for myself! haha......the girls went cruising around town to see the lines of the people outside the mall and other stores in town....we were all delerious at this point.....in fact at one point I used the word "queskins" !! hahahaha We finally made it home and I was wide awake!!!....finally got a few hours of sleep and the late afternoon we hit up a few other stores....I managed to get a few gifts.....still lots more to do!! :)

I'll leave you with a brilliant quote of mine......to set up the quote let me paint the picture....after eating Thanksgiving dinner...I was flipping channels as I was trying to find a Christmas movie on....my sister had just sat down near me as I finally had flipped to a christmas movie.......so a few seconds into the movie....I'm like " oh yeah...this is Miracle on 31st Street!" .........after the statement rang in the atmosphere....my sister looks at me and says " Isn't it 34th street?!?"  and starts to laugh at me...haha....So I laugh and shrug my shoulder... hey it happens! ...I somehow make some profound statements when I speak....my other favorite quote of mine is " Fool me once, shame on me twice" ....If I can't remember how original quotes go...I just make up my own!!! lol

30 things before I turn 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YIKES!! I had to take a deep breath while typing those dreadful words THIRTY freaking 30 !!! To quote a country song by Deanna Carter... "I still remember when 30 was old!". My how time flies!....Ok so I'm working on thirty things I want to do before turning thirty!!...So far here is what I have......these are thoughts....I'm not finalizing the list just yet! :)

1. Have almost blonde hair....this will be done this coming summer!
2. Finish my master's degree
3. Vacation by myself....ahhhh this is still iffy....not really a fan of being by myself for vacation!
4. Purchase a cello...and various other musical instruments.....
5. Be financially stable...ummmm I thought this list would be fun
6. Go to more concerts
7....

Well I think I just failed at that list.....It's still a work in progress .....I think I just need to be more specific in my goals!!!......maybe have a little more fun with it!!!/////...Any suggestions??????????????

Adventures in Walgreens.......

So yes today was a sick day!....I have some kind of sinus infection/cold going on. I didn't sleep very much last night, so when I got up this morning I felt horrible. I called into work, but I had to go in to get some exams ready so someone else could do my work. After running to work I decided to run into walgreens to get some more cold medicine....I had forgotten that in my quest to get better I had been drinking lots of liquid. So, nonetheless, I'm on the cold meds isle and realize I have to pee!!! ahhh...I quickly think...hmmm I can grab something and go...but then I'm not sure if I can make it until I get home......and I really need to look at what I'm buying......Suddenly I here the magic chimes ring as I look up and see a sign!! ...RESTROOMS!....Yes Lord! :) haha.....So as much as I hated to use a public restroom, I made the executive decision to use it. As I entered in the restroom, I noticed that it was pretty clean. Finally made it to my stall and niagra falls came!! Relief!!! haha....so as I stand up I drop my wallet on the floor...eeewwwweee......and not only did I drop it on the NASTY floor, but it also came open...SCORE!! ugh!!!.....There I was miserably bending over picking up pennies, cards and receipts off a public restroom floor!!! ....And Since when did the back of the penny change!! hahaha....so my head is about to explode....I'm so over walgreens and ready to get home to my bed.....As I'm at the sink I begin prep to wash my hands........water on...check.....paper towels...check.....soap.....ummmm...uh oh!!! ....As I proceed to hit the soap button i knock it off the wall!!!! Luckily, even with my soapy hands my cat like skills managed to sorta catch it with the other sinks help of course....hahaah....Oh great!!!! ....Is there anything else I can tear up in this bathroom!! haha....So after three tries I managed to put the soap container back on the wall for the next victim!....lol..... walgreens-=major fail!

Awkward moments: creator of tense moments.

I think I was born to live an awkward life. If I'm not creating awkward moments I'm participating in them. haha.......Ever accidentally keep locking eyes with someone???..It's as if you've been staring at them the entire time and at that moment you know what a stalker feels like......Ever have that run in with the same person two days in a row or ...run into someone in the freezer isle...dairy.......can goods....and produce...??? I mean really...why don't we just shop together next time??...lol

Yes all true stories.....the other weekend at a mexican restaurant I kept looking at this girl. Who knows why?!? She wasn't doing anything weird and I didn't recognize her at all. But, for some reason my eyes would go to the right of our table and then she would look at me......Maybe she was actually the one staring?!?! hmmm.........Then yesterday I was at the park on the island with the niece and nephew....I kept looking at this one mom on the other side of the park.....I have no idea why?....well ok maybe it was her obnoxiously big kateplus8 hair cut that could be spotted all the way across to Jekyll Island.or maybe it was just my need to stare...who knows.....so As I'm pushing Anna at the swing another family comes in.......And well this is that weird older nerdy parents weird........poor kids don't even have a chance...so anyways one of their kids started to swing beside Anna and so the Dad comes over to push him.....ANd I'm praying the whole time that he doesn't try to talk to me...cause once again they looked like that kind of family...you know...the ones who share just a little too much....or the ones who can't obviously read the " I don't feel like talking" sign you're wearing..yep ....you all know someone who is a part of that family...heck, you probably are one of them...lol.....so anyways Anna was quickly done so I was glad to move on.....Well fast forward until tonight....Oh the joys of Friday night....so, I decided to make a little trip to target....I was tired so I didn't feel like really doing much tonight......As I'm making my rounds past the book isle I stop to look at the Christmas movies....and then I hear it....that sound ......So I froze in my tracks....could it be???....oh my....as I peek through the movies....I can clearly see...it's the weird family from the park!! ohhhhh great so to avoid an awkward altercation I quickly turned my buggie and headed toward the back of the store!!.....Awkward moment avoided!! haha..ok ok...maybe it wasn't that dramatic....but how weird is that........

Rant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I'm up at Midnight again, working on this paper that is late!!! Ughhh I rarely turn in anything late. I have honestly worked so many hours on this dang thing!!! It really is so much to write on! I could cuss right now, but instead I am ranting to my millions of followers. I have been stuck inside for another day of torture and it is wearing on me. I WILL BE FINISHED WITH THIS D PAPER TOMORROW. It just aggrivates me because with those late points off my paper, I will probably make a B. I wonder if I can still pull an A out of the class...ughhhhh. So far I've made A's in my classes!!! ....but we'll see with this class!!! AHHHH

Anyways, my other rant for the night is those stupid little boxes that appear when you try to comment on someones page. You are required to look at some jumbled up letter, intepret what those are, and enter them in that stupid box. I must be on the verge of going crazy or blind, but I always get those things wrong. ....maybe it's a brain interpreation problem! haha.....I'm going to start clicking the disability button they put on those boxes. And yes NIKKI this is all your fault!!! When I try to comment on your blog it usually takes me three times to get the word right!!! WHAT THE NIKKI?!?!?!? lol  So, that is all for my rant tonight.

I need to write a few more paragraphs for my paper and then get some SLEEP!!!!!

Here's the recipe for Al's burritos!!

In a skillet combine the following ingredients:

• 1 can of Black Beans
• 1 can of chicken * or real chicken
• 1 pack of taco seasoning
• 1 pack of "Ready to go Brown Rice" ** It was a single serving that I had to microwave for 1 minute.
• Sour Cream
• Cheese
• A teaspoon of garlic
• Taco Sauce or Ketchup
• Pour just a little of chicken broth or water

Heat those incredients until it thickens up....Then serve in taco shells or wraps! :)

haha....That's all!!! Now I'm heading back to work on my paper!!! ughhhh I hate school today!!!

I know I know!!! It's been a while...This past week has kicked my butt!!! It flew by so fast! And of course I only got a few things done! ughhhh!!!! I spent most of today getting resources for the paper that I need to write tomorrow!!! I hate waiting until the last minute to do things. So, I pray that I get it wrote tomorrow and that I don't spend all day on it!!! It's probably going to be at least 8 pages.....oh so fun....it's part of the 30 page paper that I'm working on.

So, I'm sitting here waiting on my hair to finish. I brushed in a few highlights....I'm debating if I want to add some red to them....I think they are looking a little orange...however, it is getting really late so....we'll see!!! haha...........I'm also still debating on if I want to keep growing my hair out or get it cut again.....I love changing my hair up!!! It's so much fun ..ahahhaha......I know I sound like a diva, but really i'm not!

Speaking of being a diva!...haha.....I really enjoy putting outfits together....I could be a stylist!lol...I think that would be so much fun! I would even like to do hair and make up....but I would like to learn more techniques, of course!!! Maybe one day I'll take it up as a hobby! I really like all aspects of design...i love decorating houses!!! If I had excessive amounts of money I could definitely blow a good chunk in this area!!

Well the hair turned out....let's just say interesting...I haven't put the other color on yet....cause basically I'm just really tired....lol...I may do it in the morning...depends on what the hair looks like....tired eyes and minds don't always make the best of decisions.....................

So yes the partay on Saturday night was too much fun!!!! The flapper girl made an appearance!! haha....I have to admit I felt somewhat like a drag queen!! haha...I actually wore fake eyelashes for the first time!.....All I could think as I was driving to the party..."what would happen if I got pulled over?!?!?!" hahahaha........

This time it was mr. creepy check-out guy at Michaels.......... and I quote "Someone's gonna have some fun tonight! Who's the lucky guy?" ....Imagine me smurking and saying... "Oh it's just a party". It threw me off!! and it kind of made me mad!! ....Then he resumed to follow up with " oh I'm just kidding...it's none of my business....I shouldn't ask those kind of things.." ....what the?!?! just shut up and finish my transaction......and I know you all are wondering...."What was I buying?!?!?" ....This was my purchase: a roll of black ribbon, Christmas Icesicles, and Silver Christmas beads..... yes you're now thinking ..."What the?!?! .....my thoughts exactly!

I love how the one time I actually attempt to return something I get all the way to the store and realize I have the wrong receipt in the bag!!! So great!

Tonight should be interesting.....stuffing myself in some stockings and a dress!!! haha.... Who knows how the hair will turn out!! Maybe I'll actually post some pics!!! :) And for once I'm not crashing a party! I actually got invited!! haha

Tales from WalNart

I think I'm getting blogger's block!! haha..... so this post will be very random!!

It's suprising how some people just have this crazy-people magnet. I really think it's either genetic or an incurable disease! haha.... I for one know how it is to live and breathe with this dreadful, but interesting disease. I too bear the burden of dealing with such encounters. I have a few friends who know what it's like to bear this burden.  Honestly, I do seem to attatract crazy people....especially being around  church or walnart(yes I call it walnart)....my old phone used to type it that way....why??!?! i have no clue....but it makes walmart seem like a magical place like naria when you call it walnart!!....even tonight as I was checking out the cashier proceeded to tell the ladies in front of me her whole medical history.....I could tell these two ladies suffered from the same disease that I did. I breathed a sigh of relief as I was expecting that the cashier had felt a relief after sharing her story with them. Boy was I wrong!!!! haha.....she proceeded to tell me part of her story....most of it a repeat...but nontheless she gave me the cliff notes version.....lol....Really cashier, I don't mean to sound uncompassionate, but I could really care less that you've got "contact allergies" from some hormone medication that your doctor put you on that has side affects of causing allergies.....and I don't care that someone purchasing a huge thing of fabric softner really set your allergies off....I am concerned, however, about that nasty cough you got going on...."sure" blame that on the allergies too!!! lol......
Which reminds me.... I love peopleofwalmart.com  .......I wanted to talk a picture of someone a couple of weeks ago at walnart!!! I think it must have been clubwear night!! I sure missed the memo on that one.... I mean I could have pulled an outfit together......I think there must have been some kind of competition...lol.......
Another thing about our walnart....THE SECURITY GUARD!!! I feel so safe when I'm walking in the parking lot late at night......please tell me you can sense the sarcasm in my voice!!!! lol......Granny , the security guard patrols that parking lot like she works for the Secret Service......let's put it this way....Granny must be at least 76.....weighs in about 95 pounds......probably 5'3.....and carries one HECK of a flashlight!!....And once again I reinterate how safe I feel at walnart!!! lol
     There was even this one time that this mexican couple on the deodorant isle asked me what body spray was??!?!!/....how do you explain that one?!?! ....haha.....My spanish is not that good....finally I was able to pull "perfume" out my butt and quickly leave the isle!! hahaha
     In cleveland, I even encountered the real walmart stalker!! And yes I stalked him...and even watched as he stalked young girls on isles by themselves.....finally I told him he needed to quit stalking people.....and yes I scared him....he wasn't all there.....
     I've also had someone come up to my cousin and I and say one of us should be a model...lmbo...now we both argue as to who he was saying it to.....I, being of average height and very curvy /fluffy and she being of short stature and petite frame....are not really model types....so I'm not sure he was all there as well.......
     Haha...I just remembered falling in walnart one time....my roommate julie and I had made a late night run for some milk or orange juice... I can't remember which one...but I know I was hurrying down to the back of the store....I had almost made it to the cooler when.....the slip and slide occured.....one second I was standing and the next I was laying in the floor....I should've made her do an outline....lol....The poor stock boy didn't know what to think... i just remember laying there laughing!!..who would have though a puddle of "Water" would be in the middle of the cooler section....but boy did I find it.....

Now that I've wasted your time with walnart stories.... I just remembered what I really wanted to blog about.....so now I'll actually just list these......here of some of my southern accentuals..lol:

So today was such a dramatic day!!! It was so crazy....ever have one of those days that seem like you are living in another universe??...ok ok...maybe my day wasn't quite that dramatic!!! haha....there were only two mini crisises!..I don't even know if that is the correct plural from of crisis...hmmm...ohhh well.....

I had another day of training today....man that will suck the life out of you!! ...On my lunch break I get in my car....wait let me paint this picture....I leave my office and walk outside to a beautiful breezy sunshiney day!! I sit down in my car, close the door, insert the key.................and nothing happens!!!! So, I turn the key again! Nothing happens......well at this point I'm telling myself to remain calm.....that nice sunshiney day is turning to "make me sweat-hot as heck" day.........so I GENTLY turn the key again.....AND NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!!! UGHHHH.....so I then attempt to take the keys out.....well I would have had better luck taking the dashboard than getting that key out!!! I am like what in the world....so at this point ....car won't turn over......key stuck in the engine......and NOW my door locks won't lock.......I am freaking out..praying for my car and everything!....Mind you I had just purchased a new battery about four months prior!!! So I didn't know what in the world it could be!!!....soooo fast forward....called my diddy and sweated a little bit more.....and it ended up being some corrosion and connection problem on the battery....easy fix!!! PTL!!! PTL=praise the Lord! in case you didn't know!

I ended up working a little late trying to catch up ......didn't get very far....lol......so afterwards I went over to my Aunts house......the fam has been working on their new place.......so my sister and bro in law were there with the kids!!! Boy those kids wear me out!! haha....I was eating an apple when I got their and of course Anna wanted it.....and She had to hold it herself!!! So independent like me!! .....Well then I got talked into taking Austin to get a pumpkin!!! If you know my nephew, He's a talker.....He spelled all the way to Publixs.....and I took the long way by accident!! haha....We get to publixs and He gets to pick the buggie. Which buggie does he pick?!?! The longest freakin' one they have!! lol........I'm serious it's bigger than the car buggie.....dang it! I should've taken a picture of it......It is a buggy with seat behind the buggy......trust me everyone was watching as I manuevered thru the isles. Austin had to look at all the Halloween stuff several times.....we left publix's with 3 pumpkins, 2 cans of silly string, a black cat, and an orange stuffed cat for anna! haha.....oh my!! ...oh yeah so as we're leaving Austin wants to weigh himself on the huge scale at publixs.....then he proceeds to try to get me to get on it!!! hahahaha...Oh heck no!!!! So I 'm like Austin we need to go....and we did because we had been gone forever!!!! lol

So I finally get back to my aunt's house and I freak out because I can't remember putting my purse in my car!!!!! AHHH...so I tear off running to the car..having a harty(heart attack)...and PTL it's in there........oh yeah and Austin only spelled half the way there...and I remembered to take a short cut!! lol.....

So after a few more minutes of playing with the kids I headed home.....

And here I am...oooo I made some steamed broccoli tonight!! Sooo Good!! ....I love those little steam bags.....very easy!!...and I added some cheese on it too!! yum!!!

Well I was asked to blog about two things: Cleveland and my idea of a perfect date.......haha so random.

Since I'm on the subject of relationships I'll hit the date one first. My original response to blogging about my idea of a perfect date was:
     "A date? Isn't that the fruit-raisin thing?" lol
Yeah I'm not so hip with the dating scene......but since I must pull stuff out of my butt to fill up this blog space ....here I go.....haha.... Well to me the perfect date is not so much happens as who your with. To feel comfortable and interested in wasting time with someone else is the foundation For me, I'm such a well rounded person that I enjoy mostly anything.......of course I refuse to eat at a fast food restaurant!! ..Call my high maintenance if you must....but I just don't like fast food all that much!! haha... Honestly, make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at the house instead!! haha. So probably, my idea of a perfect date would be good conversation, good food, lots of laughing, some kind of activity, and a nice walk/people watching....I think I'm easy to please for the most part.....and those aspects seem to be very generic...........But hey these are just ideas and we all know some ideas are just DUMB!!! hahaha.....I'll let you know once I have more experience in this area.......Oh yeah I guess I could add....that knowing it's a date is also part of that perfect date!! haha...and it wouldn't hurt to wear good smelling cologne! hahahahaha

Cleveland: memories oh memories........One of the things I miss about Cleveland are the friends.....I used to have friends over at my house all the time....there was never a dull or boring moment.......well ok...on ocassions there were....dang...quit calling me out!! ;)   I really just enjoyed being around such a variety of personalities and watching their interaction with each other....fulfilling my love for people watching......oh my gosh and the many games we would play.....the best ones were those we made up...and the more dangerous and dirty (as in the opposite of clean) the better...haha....such examples: circle of death, snipe, pillow fights.....so much fun......Smalls and I brought back the coolness of playing dominoes and therefore my house became the domimoe headquaters....we had marathon games....and of course what really made the games fun was me talking in my accents....haha....I think I spent most of my time in cleveland laughing!!! and being crazy of course!  I seem to have become a little bit conservative since moving back.....is that part of growing up??? I hope not.....I think it's just a phase I'm going through.....hahaha...I hope it passes soon...I don't like the calm quiet  collected shannon.....

So I will type it once again!!! ....so back to BAM.....I bought a new piano book.....it has scales and different chord techniques.... I need to up my piano skills ....it's been a while since I've learned new stuff.......

So, I'm thinking I need to start adding pictures to my blog....although the lazy part of me doesn't want to.....What would you like to see a picture of?? (PG rated please)

I like the idea of blog topic suggestions....Got any more subjects you'd like to know my opinion on?

Also, someone suggested I do a list of 30 things to do before I turn 30.......... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH that hurt to type the three with the goose egg....so maybe I'll start compiling that list....or work on my bucket list!!!

Day 4-5 Washing/Cleanting/Diva/ MOvie/CRY

WEEKEND RECAP!

First off....let me just say that the older I get the shorter the weekend gets.  The weekend was pretty good. I accomplished half of what I needed to! But none the less I did accomplish something!! Saturday I slept in. I haven't done that in a while....But I really needed it too! I spent most of the day cleaning and washing clothes. Then I went on a search for my halloween outfit. I'm trying to be a flapper girl, but this is harder than I thought. I've yet to hit up Halloween City. So, maybe I'll go there tomorrow.  I did get some cool fashionista shoes...lol...One leopard print heels and the other are black sparkly. When will I ever wear them!! lol I'm definitely fashionable, but not a fashionista DIVA! haha After shopping for a few, I headed over to my friend Sarah (and Gary and Jordan)'s house. Love them!! Sarah's been such a good friend!!! They're like family to me! :) haha Sarah has even let me crash several family events. Ohh and don't worry I made her and Jordan crash one of mine!! Payback is a b and so am I ! ;)  So we watched Robinhood.....who knew he was gansta! jk! .....The movie was somewhat hard to understand. Especially those accents!!! I am horrible with understanding English/Irish/Scottish accents!! It took me several times watching Pride and Prejudice to know what's going on!! hahaha My cleveland girls made me like that movie. In fact, I was anti-romantic movies until they forced me to watch girlie movies!! haha....Now I actually like a good romance movie every once and a while. .....So finally after the long behind movie, which was pretty good, I came home. It was late and of course I had not put my clean sheets on the bed!! Nice move Shannon!!! UGH!! So, then I proceeded to make my bed at 2:00 in the a.m.......When I finally went to sleep I slept for about 2 hours and woke up!!! I was wide awake! ....I stayed awake up until 6:30....that made for excellent sleep....insert eye roll............Then it was on to church.....sermon was good...I love the intro for "Chick magnet"....it's a guy from our church and he was hilarious!! ......Dinner with some fam after church........then home to "nap"!! haha....I tried to sleep, but I ended up putting on a movie I had rented. :The last song....yes I know...I don't really like miley, but the movie was filmed near here! ....so I had to watch it!! lol.......I must have been in a softie mood, cause I actually shed a few tears......lol....I'm not normally a crier at movies.....but I actually enjoy movies that do make me cry, only because I know I've gotten really sucked into the story line!...The movie was actually pretty good, but predictable....Then afterwards I played my guitar and piano....I've been needing more practice lately........Then it was on to Submerge-leadership service tonight......After that I went to my office to work on my school work. I'll be glad when this class is over...I have 30 page research paper to do..ughhhh.....After that was finished I headed to publix to get a few groceries! I'm actually gonna attempt a low carb/south beach diet again....haha.....Last time I did rarely any carbs I thought I was gonna die!! haha...This time I'm gonna do low carb as long as I can and then just maintain a healthy amount of carbs after that....lol....I'm trying to get back into my eat healthy and excercise routine. It's been hard to do lately with all the busyness in my life.....work/school/worship/church stuff keeps me busy!!!! But I love it ....most of the time! haha...So now I find myself washing more clothes......watching "letters to juliet: and typing this blog!! ........Here are some of my random thoughts for today:

• My feet are dry. How do I keep them moisturized? Maybe I should wear socks more often.

• I need to work on my Christmas list!
• I need to set up my budget again- I now get paid once a month. I was bi-weekly.

Day 3- Boring.Lightning. Fake Friends-the drama begins.

So today took some time to get started. I didn't feel so great so I went in late to work. I'm finally making some progress on my stacks of paper work!! AHHH.....I want to go in and work this weekend, but I also have school work to do. Booooooooo!! I'm working on my Master's in Public Administration. Who knows what I really want to do when I grow up!! lol ..Maybe one day I will decide. Graduate work isn't too bad. Some weekends it takes a lot of my time.........but hopefully this time next year I will be graduating!....There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Tonight has ended up being a boring night.....I did get to visit with some family and play with the niece and nephew. The niece is turning out to be a mini-me!! lol. She is such a diva!!!....she's very independent just like her Aunt Shannon! :)  I still haven't felt that great tonight.......hopefully I'll get some good sleep and will feel better tomorrow!

Tomorrow is homework, clean up, and organization day!!! Hopefully I will get something accomplished!!! Life lately has been so hectic that it's hard to find time to get organized! 

I still need to figure out what I want to be for halloween!!!! haha...which reminds me I got a suprise for someone tonight!!! Ican't wait until they get it!!!! Anyways, let me know if you have any ideas for what I can be. As of now, I think I will be a flapper girl. It's so hard to come up with something!! So, maybe I need to head to Halloween city tomorrow for some ideas....hhhmmmmm.....

Friends. People in general frustrate me. I just get tired of being a friend of convenience.....a friend when you only want to act a certain way......I get tired of putting forth all the effort. I also get tired of texting people who never respond.  Especially, when I ask them a question. Or, I'm the one who always asks if they want to hang out! I mean it would just take them way too much effort to ask me!! Am I the only one who has "friends" like this?....Oh yeah,..or the friend that can never do anything because they don't have money....but yet can go out with other friends....wt!.....but anyways I think I need new friends. Yep...I'm trading them in!!! lol....Well ok....maybe I'll keep a few....but the rest are getting the "dueces"!!!  *Hope you enjoyed my drama rant! * Oh and by the way ....I'm taking applications for new friends!!! lol

And why am I watching this wedding show on TLC AGAIN>!?!?! WT!!!! ....well see...I don't have a remote so that would require way too much effort to turn the station! haha ....See what had happened was......lol.....I lost my other TV to a lightning strike!! It was a couple of months ago. It was the scariest thing ever!!!! I was sitting on my bed doing homework. It had kind of been storming , but not really bad. It had almost calmed down when all of a sudden it hit my room!!!!! It was so loud that I automatically went deaf in one of my ears!!! I seriously went DEAF!!!!! Craziest thing ever!!! Come to find out...it had hit my door.....tore up the molding around the door (inside and out)....the door knob had burn marks on it and there were wood shavings everywhere!!!! Lightning is powerful!!!I would have been dead if I had my hand on that knob!!! So crazy!!.....so all that to say I went without a tv for a while and kind of got used to it. Then I finally put up an older one I had. It works fine, I just don't have a remote. And well since I've been so busy and went without a tv for a while I don't really watch it that much. Or, when I do I usually only watch a few shows. I wish I was one of those people that had "shows"......maybe one day I will!! haha

Day 2- Food and Favorites!

Well well....seems like I'm pretty popular......See I told you! People just can't get enough of me!....hahahaha....Anyways today was an okay day. I had a doctor's appointment this morning. It was just a followup to some lab work I had done. I got some vitamin shot, but I don't feel like it's made a difference. In fact I've been tired today and now I've got a nice headache kickin'!! ....ughhhh....

So i whipped up some chicken canneloni and I must say it's pretty good.....healthy, probably not....good, yes.....it's a no counting calorie day! hah!...but I wish I had made it from scratch ....maybe next time....I enjoy cooking, but only when I have time. ....I really don't like fast food....there I said it.....although I don't count subway/firehouse subs as fastfood. ...And while we're talking about food...I just really do not like country buffets....I like the salad bar and the dessert bar ,but really I'd rather just eat a sandwich at the house...haha...does that make me weird?!?!?....I guess I'm a sandwhich girl...yes I spelled it like that because I get made fun of for how I say sandwich! lol.....I love some Panera!....Jason's Deli is another favorite ......Chili's, Logans, Macaroni Grill(or the other italians)....and good Mex every now and then....Shout out to my friend Aleena....I blame her for the college weight I put on.....She made me love mexican food. there was one summer I think we ate at Tres at least three times a week.....I went so much I started ordering different things!!! haha


Ooooo it's finally getting a little chilly!....That means a a Carmel Apple spice cider from Starbucks!! YUMMMM!!! :) My favorites!!!..(yes i know...i wanted to say it that way! lol)  So I guess I could copy Aleena and start a list of my favorites...............

• Gettin Snuggie with it!: I'll let you all in on my inside joke....I refer to any kind of snuggling as getting snuggie with it.....I love to be cold enough to cover up....I also consider this thing I do with my feet as snuggying.....Whenever I sit on a couch I immediately want to put my feet either under the person next to me or under the cushion next to me.....my feet need snuggie too!!! haha
• My Niece, nephew, and baby cousins!!! These are the coolest kids I have ever known. There is just something about seeing them laugh and grow!! These babies are my heart. I don't believe you've really experienced love until you've loved a child!! I think I'll just kidnap them and make them my own!! haha :)

Well my bed is calling me........sleep sounds so good right now!! Tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! It's the freakin' weekend!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 1- peer pressure, post-its, and snuggies!

Wow! What can I say......Here I am. Can we please get a big round of applause to PEER PRESSURE! Yes I am blogging again. Except this time it's about mi vida loca. Oh excuse my biligualness. Please don't expect correct grammar, complete sentences, or much less complete thoughts. Thanks to my dearest friend Aleena I've been persuaded to once again join the crowd!!! haha....Hopefully, this blog will actually make me seem like a really cool person and make people jealous of my life...Just sayin....Dang it! how cool would I have been if I had used "just sayin'" as my blog name!!! Ahhh...that's me....a day late and a dollar short......I  like to say ..."shame on me once, shame on you twice"...yeah whatever that means...I like to have sayings...I usually make up my own because I can't really remember how the real ones go....so I guess now is when I'm supposed to talk about my day.........

My day went by pretty quick.......I'm learning a lot of new stuff at work......oh yeah...Let it be known that I cannot stand rude people that think they can get their way by just being rude...I don't think so...that soooo does not fly with me. At work I'm definitely known as the sticky note lady! I live and breathe by those puppies!...It's been so busy lately that I can't seem to keep up....I really believe that my papers keep having babies!! Shame on them!!!!!

On another note....I gotta keep it random....I miss my friends from college.....Now don't get me wrong...I love the few friends I have here!....but I really miss who I was with my college friends........I like friends that make me feel like ..Me! haha...I know it sounds crazy....which it probably is...but I don't care! I like those people who bring out the best in me....or the worst heheeheeeh.....Now the few good friends I have here I do feel like me!!...but unfortunately for them they get a little bit of the tired and exhausted Shannon....They're slowing getting to see the wild and crazy side of me too!! haha...you've got to peel back the layers of who I am.....As much as I hate ONIONS!!!UGGHhhh ....I am the onion! It takes a while to get to the real me...gotta peel back the layer....someone please give me another image to use besides that nasty thing!!! haha

Oh yeah so back to my day....everything else was a rush....rush for soundcheck......worship was good...it was just me and my guitar.......and I need to play more because my fingers hurt now!! ahhhh...note to self...need to practice more.....I could tell I've been playing the piano a lot more!!!!

So back to friends.....that makes me think of inside jokes....I love inside jokes........they are the best thing! I love how people have no idea what they mean......let me name a few.....snuggies, Al's enchiladas, she gone, 33333, Cousinly duties,  I'm 7, Juanita and Leroy, ....the list could go on and on!! And I hope to continue adding on.

One more random thought....I love status shuffle on facebook....I must have a million of those saved under favorites.....what more could a random girl ask for!!?!?! ....I even save ones I'd never post!! haha..... but anyways.....I'm outta here.
